It's a tradition on the Friday night before the pilgrimage for Committee members to make spam musubi and rice balls for the pilgrimage on Saturday. Many of the volunteers are from Sue Embrey's family. This year, we combined the Bento Making with the "Button Making and Crane Folding for Peace" event as part of the expanded weekend programming supported by the California Civil Liberties Public Education Program.
